Epilogue

What's happened, happened.

A film begins long before the first take. For some of us, it begins as a stills timeline: storyboard stills created in various applications, assembled and locked in Final Cut Pro as a pre-cut of the scene while the set is still empty and the schedule is still only intention. That sequence is not a rough sketch of post-production; it is the shoot, decided early, held in order, waiting for the day the cameras finally match what was already pictured.

That is my distinctive workflow as a storyteller. I built Shot Data to turn that intention into a Shot List Database: reviewed, shared, and carried into Notion by design. Shot Data emerges as a catalyst poised to democratise that shot-list workflow, rendering a clear visualisation of the scene, before it is shot, without hand-built catalogues.
